BRUSHING TECHNIQUE

Dry brushing is performed on dry skin, ideally just before showering. Always brush with movements directed toward the heart, following the lymphatic flow.

Start at the lower body by brushing the feet, both tops and soles, then gently move up the legs, brushing both the front and back up to the knees. Use circular motions to stimulate the lymph nodes. Continue with the thighs, brushing both front and back, using linear strokes from the knees up toward the groin. On the abdomen, use gentle circular motions clockwise. Next, brush the neck and collarbones toward the armpits to stimulate the thoracic duct. Brush from the hands up to the elbows, then continue from the elbows to the armpits.

WHEN THE SKIN BREATHES, THE BODY FEELS LIGHTER

Freeing the skin of impurities and boosting its vitality is a way of renewing the energy of the entire body.

Dry brushing is much more than a simple exfoliating gesture. When performed with a brush made of natural fibers, it stimulates microcirculation, activates lymphatic drainage, and supports deep detoxification of the body. By sloughing away dead skin cells and reviving circulatory energy, it awakens the skin, visibly refines its texture, and brings a renewed sense of lightness to the body.

Incorporated into your wellness routine, this ritual enhances skin vitality, restores its natural glow, and perfectly prepares it for the treatments that follow. A simple, multi-benefit practice — for skin that breathes and a body in balance.

EXTEND THE BENEFITS

After dry brushing, the skin is receptive, primed to absorb targeted care. Follow with the body treatment best suited to your needs. This final step completes the ritual: active ingredients penetrate more deeply, deliver intense nourishment, strengthen the skin’s barrier, and provide an immediate feeling of comfort and vitality.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should I dry brush?

Ideally in the morning, to awaken your energy and boost circulation. But it can also be part of your evening ritual, helping to promote relaxation and support the skin’s natural regeneration.

Should dry brushing be done on dry or damp skin?

Dry brushing is ideally performed on dry skin, before showering or applying any treatment. However, for sensitive skin - or if you prefer a gentler touch - our brush can also be used on damp skin or in the shower. This softens the exfoliation while still providing the benefits of the massage.

Should dry brushing be done every day?

Brushing 3 to 5 times per week is ideal to see visible results while being gentle on the skin.

Can dry brushing help reduce cellulite?

Yes, dry brushing can visibly improve the skin’s texture and help reduce the appearance of cellulite.

How does the skin improve over time with regular use?

Smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin, improved circulation, a lasting feeling of lightness, and enhanced effectiveness of the skincare products you apply.

Are there any contraindications to dry brushing?

Despite its many benefits, dry brushing is not recommended in certain cases. Avoid it if you have:

  • Very sensitive, irritated skin or skin with lesions (eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, etc.).
  • Varicose veins or significant venous disorders — in these cases, opt for gentler massage techniques or consult a healthcare professional.
  • Skin infections, open wounds, or local inflammations.

If in doubt or if you have a specific condition, it is always best to seek advice from a healthcare professional.
